change default java on Ubuntu, LinuxMint

Update 6 Dec 2012: Oracle is not shipping installables(.deb) anymore. There are only extractle .tar.gz files. update-alternatives does not pick up the manual installation. I am still trying to figure out a way

to choose a manual installation.
